Dr. Carini has been involved in biomedical research for over 20 years. Dr. Carini is an H. Faculty at the King’s College School of Medicine, London and is an F-NIH Biomarkers Consortium Steering Committee Member. Formerly, Dr. Carini was the Global Head of Clinical Immunology & Biomarkers at Pfizer Inc.
Biography
Dr. Carini has successfully implemented translational research strategies to reduce the time and costs associated with clinical development while developing drugs at Pfizer Inc., Hoffman La Roche, Novartis and Wyeth. Dr. Carini has also served as faculty at the Johns Hopkins School of Medicine and Harvard University. Dr. Carini has led several strategic, business development committees, and led due diligences for in licensing opportunities. He is board certified in Internal Medicine, Pathology, Respiratory Medicine, and Clinical Immunology.
Dr. Carini is an expert in translational medicine, biomarkers and precision medicine, immunology. He has contributed to biomarkers identification and the success of several projects at the different phases of R&D. Some of those projects led to products market approval.

He has spoken in many venues in several national and international biomarkers conferences, and has been the recipient of meritorious scientific research awards and fellowships. Member of New York Academy of Sciences and of several national and international societies and ad-hoc reviewer for several peer reviewed journals.
